Warning: POWER OFF the UPCore board BEFORE plugging/unplugging a carrier board.


All components


What you see after you open the box

After you open the box, you will see three parts. One big black bag contains the main carrier board, another black bag contains the connector. The last transparent bag contains screws, nuts, and standoffs needed to put the carrier board together with the UP Board.

Take things out

Open the two black bags, you will these two guys, which are the main carrier board and the connector

Step one


Backside

Frontside

  • Use two nuts to fix the two higher standoffs.
  • Two nuts should be on the **backside **of the carrier board while two higher stand-offs should be on the front side
  • screws them together

Note: Four stand-offs are two pairs. The length of threads inside stand-offs is different. The pair with shorter threads are used in Step two, while the one with longer threads are used in Step four

  • Use two nuts to fix the two shorter standoffs.
  • Two nuts should be on the **backside **of the carrier board while two shorter standoffs should be on the front side
  • screws them together

Note: Four stand-offs are two pairs. The length of threads inside stand-offs is different. The pair with shorter threads are used in Step two, while the one with longer threads are used in Step four

Screw the other two shorter stand-offs which have longer threads inside on the connector board

Step five


Put upboard on top of the carrier board

Connect you Up board on top of the connector. Make sure it aligns a straight line with threads of stand-offs

Step six

Screw the last four screws with stand-offs tightly.
