  1. Install Ubuntu 16.04 AMD64 desktop version
  2. Install the Up Board linux Kernel
  3. Follow the standard ROS install directions @ http://wiki.ros.org/kinetic/Installation/Ubuntu). Works as is!
  4. Go through the tutorial to test your install.

Additional work below needs to be made to test accessing the GPIO pins through ROS.
